I’ve uploaded over 20 tracks to my JackTrip Studio. Unless I’m mistaken (and please correct me if I’m wrong), there seems to be no way to organize the order in which they appear. This would be very useful for musicians livestreaming their performances so the songs could appear in the same order as their playlist. Please consider this feature for future updates. Thanks for creating such a profoundly useful platform for musicians who love to work together from a distance.
@stevenhmark, I wonder if it is possible to change the timestamp on them to create the desired order, making an original “recorded date” note as well. I am pinging @miked for suggestions or possibly adding to the features backlog. Thank you!
Hi @stevenhmark, thanks for the suggestion! I’ll see if we can implement some sort-by-name on the track list to give an option on how the order of tracks is presented.
Thanks for listening. JackTrip was a making it possible for me to continue recording sessions with a former bandmate who moved to a town over two hours away. Making music again. Thank you.
Thank you for your follow up, Nelson!
I added a button to help sort tracks by name. You can find it in the “Tracks” view of the music player in a studio:
@stevenhmark I hope that Nelson’s name-sorting option will help you organize your tracks.
Awesome, thank you so much! Wow! I’m speechless. Never had a developer implement one of my suggestions before. Kudos to the whole team on making this highly useful feature.
I appreciate your following through on this. Thank you.
