Participants Tab
We’ve combined the former “Devices” and “Subscribers” tabs so you can see all of this inside one view named “Participants”. As an owner or admin on a studio, you’ll be able to manage connected clients and subscribers all in one location.
Join Button Enhancements
The join button on your studio is now always enabled. When a studio is running, you’ll be able to connect like normal. However, if your studio is not running, you’ll see some different prompts.
If you’re an admin and your studio is not running, you will now be able to start the studio. Otherwise, the join button will put you in a “waiting room” that waits for the studio to be available.
Updated Start/Stop Button
To make starting and stopping studios easier, we changed the location of the Start/Stop button and placed it right at the top next to the Join button. See below for the new look!
Likes on Broadcasts
We’ve added the ability to like public broadcasts. These likes will get applied directly to the subsequent recording that gets automatically created from your public broadcast.
Sunsetting Jamulus-Only Studios
As we’re building out new features, we’ve found that Jamulus-only studios are losing more and more functionality. We’ve made the decision to stop supporting new Jamulus-only studios going forward. If you’re a Jamulus user, you can still take advantage of JackTrip+Jamulus studio types.
