Easier to Find Audio Quality Slider
JackTrip’s Audio Quality Slider has grown into such a valuable feature that we wanted to make it as easy as possible for everyone to find. It is now front-and-center at the top of the interface whenever you are connected to a live session.
Web Browser Audio Improvements
We made a bunch of improvements when connecting to JackTrip sessions using your web browser. First, we made the Audio Settings menu a little cleaner and easier to use, especially when you have more than a few audio interfaces:
You can also now disable echo cancellation and noise suppression to improve audio quality when using headphones and high quality microphones (warning: do not disable echo cancellation when using speakers).
We’ve also improved buffering for web browser connections to take into account your studio’s Audio Quality Slider setting. Disabling “Auto” and setting it for low latency will now allow you to minimize latency for people connecting via both web browser and JackTrip’s desktop app.
Best of all, JackTrip will now remember your audio settings when connecting via web browser across multiple sessions, so that you only need to set it up once!
