Here are this week’s Virtual Studio updates.
Enabling Broadcast Causing Cutouts
When enabling your studio to broadcast publicly, you might have experienced a short audio cutout for all participants that impacted desktop app users particularly. This has been addressed and fixed such that enabling, or disabling, broadcasting should be a seamless experience.
Device Connection Fixes
We’ve implemented some fixes to address problems that may have led your device to remain stuck in “Connecting” while joining a studio. Specifically we found instructive errors not being displayed, as well as some extra sensitivity in a language filter that was recently added. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, please try again and let us know if you encounter any problems!
Master/Self Volume Descriptions
We’ve gotten some feedback on some slightly confusing terminology between “Master Volume” and “Self Volume”. There are some new in-app tooltips that have been added to better describe what they are for and how they can be used.
Radio Audio Gaps
If you’ve experienced any audio gaps while listening in to JackTrip Radio on either the “low” or “medium” quality setting, these are now fixed.
