# Non-JackTrip configurations

Because JackTrip’s an OS protocol, it’s easy to create derivatives, one of which I’ve come across in the Netherlands. Once you got below the surface, Jack references started to appear…  
Would it be possible to create a taxonomy of such family derivatives, please?
